Working With a Lazy, Fearful Horse - Q&A
Question: I have a 17-year-old Morgan mare. She is absolutely amazing 99.8% of the time. I used your training method to train her 6 years ago. The 0.2% of the time she’s not amazing is when she’s lazy. She knows that I’ll make her move her feet, but she acts like I’m going to beat her. I’ve never had to smack her. The most pressure I’ve ever applied is swinging the rope, and even that is usually unnecessary. How do I make her less afraid in that situation? I don’t want to reward laziness, but I also don’t want her to be afraid either.

Переглядів 5 тис.14 днів тому
Question: I have a 2-year-old that wasn’t off her mom until she was 2. Once she got weaned, she’d pin her ears at everyone and would turn and kick out. Every time she tried to kick me, I got into her for it. She has stopped doing it, but there is one person she still hates. She will pin her ears and charge at this person, trying to kick her. The lady told me I had to move her. I don’t know what...

So cool 🎉
How do I send something to you about my horse
Like so much how you talk and explain....even though I'm not native speaking english. 👍
Very helpful. Thank you.
Treehuggin’ idiots 😂😂😂
I have been born and raised in OH. I hate the weather, too. LOL Very sad this facility was lost in a devastating fire two weeks ago. I have had horses all of my life and had great mentors since I was a child. I agree with you. Some people really spoil their horses and wonder why their horse is so obnoxious. A horse isn't a dog. I see the same things with dogs. The owner takes them out and the dog walks the owner. I don't know how you put up with some of these stupid people. LOL You sure worked very hard and you've earned it well. Enjoy your life now! Yes, my daughter was a big fan of yours. She thought you were so cute and talented. She grew into a great horsewoman. Thank you! Enjoy everyday!
Love this love this love this!
I like the way you work with horse and you are good with horse Nanette
I’ve rode it that are now

Oh, you make look so graceful and ez .
So I followed the link in the description and as I understand it these updates are only available to premium members? I have been a loyal member since the beginning of DUH and now older live on a fixed income, I want to stay a member for lots of reasons, I like it 😊 …given the fact that I studied the method and have had a few private clinics and have every dvd CA has made, I felt financially I could not swing premium membership but after all these years (18) with no lapse ever in membership I would certainly like to see these up dates also 😏 would be nice if us veteran members with regular memberships could get access to these updates if premium membership is not an option.
Amazing job Honey. The method is the best obviously.🎉❤
My daughter uses the Method in training horses and it transforms the horses into the perfect horses.
So what was changed? I hadn't seen anything yet
Follow the link in the description to see what was added and where to find it.
❤
Love the way that butt sat right down into the dirt on that long run. Even from this angle I could see those front feet walking forward. Very nice sliding stop!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This looks like fencing from this angle. Is running this far to the fence ok now? Haven’t been to a show in a while. Or maybe this video is not from a competition. Just asking? PS. I use your method and it has helped many horses and their people get along better and safer.
The seats appear empty, they may just be practicing so they know how good the footing is. I could be wrong but those seats are very empty for a show.
It’s called reigning.
@@lexiesheikh2393not really since it can all be seen online, sorry to burst your bubble but every nrcha event isn’t like the fraud Yellowstone show puts on.
Looks like a Quarter Horse tush... 🎉
He’s so cute ❤
I need a foal ASAP!!! 😍😍😍
